WHAT’S INCLUDED
- New driveway cuts. Route cut, organics stripped out, ground shaped before any rock goes down.
- Limerock and road base. Base material placed, graded, and compacted — the standard for Florida drives that hold up.
- Grading and crowning. The surface shaped so water runs off the sides instead of down the middle.
- Millings. Recycled asphalt for a tighter, harder surface where it fits the job.
- Culvert installation. Pipe set where the drive crosses a ditch or drainage path, so water keeps moving.
- Repair and regrade. Washboard, potholes, and washouts fixed by fixing the base and the drainage — not just topping it off.

QUESTIONS
Limerock, millings, or asphalt — what’s the difference?
Limerock is the standard Florida base: compacts hard, drains well, and can be paved over later. Millings are recycled asphalt that tighten up into a harder, cleaner surface. Asphalt paving is a separate trade on top of a proper base. What fits depends on your ground, your traffic, and your plans — that’s a walk-through conversation.
Why does my driveway keep washing out?
Almost always drainage. No crown, no ditches, or rock laid on dirt with no compacted base. Water finds the low path and takes your driveway with it. Fixing the shape and the base fixes the washout; adding more rock on top just feeds the problem.
Do I need a permit for a new driveway?
If the driveway connects to a county road, the county may require a permit for the connection and possibly a culvert. It varies by county and by road. Check with your county — and mention it when Sam walks the property so it’s handled before work starts.
