Services — Adams Earthworx
Inverness sites aren’t flat, and that’s the point. We cut and fill rolling Citrus County terrain to engineered grades — building pads, small commercial sites, and lot prep done to your plans, not by eye.
Grade Day
FinishedBuilders around Inverness deal with real elevation change. A pad here usually isn’t scrape-and-pour — it’s a genuine cut-and-fill problem, balancing dirt across the site to hit the elevations on the plan and keep water moving where the engineer said it should. That’s dozer and excavator work with grade stakes, and it’s the kind of dirt work we do every week.
There’s steady small commercial activity around the county seat too — offices, shops, and service buildings that need a cleared site, a compaction-ready pad, and rough grading to the civil set. Inverness is inside our regular working area, so we can look at your site quickly and give you a real number instead of a guess.
Grade stakes and a plan. Your surveyor sets the stakes, we cut and fill to them, and we check as we go rather than at the end. On sloped ground the sequence matters — where the cut comes from and where the fill goes — and that’s exactly the work we’re equipped for.
We’ll tell you before we start. Once we’ve seen the plan and walked the ground we can tell you whether the cut feeds the fill or whether material needs to come in or go out. Our own dump truck handles either way, and it’s in the estimate up front.
